Whether the occasion is for a Fall Family get together, a party with your friends, or a party for the kids, you can never go wrong with pumpkin carving in the fall!

1. First put on your invitation (BYOP) Bring Your Own Pumpkin, or if you have a pumpkin patch yourself or have pre-purchased the pumpkins that is okay as well. As long as all guests have a pumpkin.

2. Next make sure all pumpkin tools are available. (Pumpkin Carving kits work great!)

3. Have some options of fun stencils or let them free hand the pumpkin!

Here’s a list of what Anjali Prasertong recommends having:

2. Newspaper or butcher paper (to carve on)

2. Paper towels or clean rags (for wiping goopy hands)

4. Big bowls to collect the seeds

5. Paper templates (optional)

6. Tea lights and matches"

What to serve?

If you are wanting to really make your pumpkin carving party shine then you must have party food to fit the pumpkin theme.

I personally like raspberry lemonade or punch. The raspberry lemonade will look like blood for a spooky theme and there is great recipe for punch if you click here. The recipe does not call for alcohol, however, if it is an adult party feel free to spike the punch!

This specific punch has only 3 ingredients, so it is super easy to make and delicious!

As for food, there are so many fun treats to try. I recommend making easy side dishes so you have time to carve your pumpkin as well and can just sit some appetizers or side dishes out on a table for your guest to grab at their convenience.

Below are a few links to fun dishes I recommend adding to your Pumpkin Party!

Follow these simple party tips and you and your guests are in for a frighteningly fun time!
