In Digital Writing I learned a great deal about writing for the web. This course taught me how to effectively write for the web therefore, I was taught how to write clear and concise. In this course I worked on a blog that turned out exactly as I pictured! I learned how to use Wix.com and create my own blog/website. Click here to see my work!

Cross-Cultural Communication

This was one of my favorite courses! In this course I learned all about different cultures. I gave a 45 minute – hour presentations on other cultures. I still carry much of the information from this course with me today. I also know that every culture has different beliefs and customs so when traveling it is wise to research the destination and be aware of the customs prior to traveling there.

Communication and Social Conflict
​
In this course I learned helpful tips for requesting something of someone. By following these steps I wrote conflict journal entries about something that bothered me. Writing down my feelings and planning the process helped me to make my request. This course challenged me to deal with conflict in a fruitful way.

Fundamentals of Public Speaking

In Fundamentals of Public Speaking I learned the basics of do's and don'ts for giving an effective speech. I do not know where I would be without taking this intro course. I have used what I learned in this course all throughout my entire bachelors program and will continue to use this knowledge I've acquired from this course in my professional life.
